Hi I'm Jonah Haug and I'm from Council Bluffs, Iowa, and am now living in Ames, Iowa. I’ve had an interest in art since I was little and that continued throughout school growing up. I would further develop my skills in college at Iowa State University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design in 2019. Since then I’ve had several great opportunities to show my artwork at various festivals, on social media and other public venues. All while working full time as the Graphic Designer at a sign production company.
Getting to see and hear others’ interpretations or reactions continues to motivate my exploration into new ways of creating art and connecting with the audience. Artwork has always been a vital outlet for my thoughts and feelings. I have ADHD and other mental health struggles which bleed through many of the fine details in my work. It means so much to me to see it resonate with others.
